Isetan Mitsukoshi is holding its MERRY FUTURE CHRISTMAS 2020 campaign until Friday, December 25. 2020 is a year that has changed our daily lives dramatically, so we have put together many different elements to help you enjoy a more special holiday season. Please see below for details on the contents and in-store decorations that we hope to bring joy and happiness this Christmas. The theme is, “hope is born, from you.”
・Bringing Christmas to WFH
Backgrounds for use during remote communication are available to download, adding the spirit of Christmas into your everyday. These can be used freely—not only for video calls with friends, but also during online meetings and more.
・Sustainability in Christmas gift-giving *in-store only
In consideration of sustainability, this year’s gift bags are reusable (gift bags incur a small charge). Additionally, the message cards offered in store are made from synthetic paper using non-wood materials, which is kinder to the environment.
A 3D Santa is also set to appear then and there via AR by accessing a special website via the QR code printed on the card.
Aside from the above, various other content is planned, including original movies and message cards created with avatars. The website is only available in Japanese, however anybody who is interested should check them out.
Christmas decorations exclusive to Ginza store
A new symbol of Ginza, only just unveiled this year. The Ginza Chandelier is finally lighting up the night, bathing encounters in dazzling light and softly glowing in memories.
Visitors are welcomed to the store by the unmistakable colors of Christmas, red and green, from the chandelier’s debut on Saturday, November 21.
